    As an engineer who trains customers to use measurement software applications in the quality sector of many industries (medical, automotive, aerospace, etc.), it can be difficult to clearly and concisely train adult learners on technical aspects without over-explaining or under-utilizing material. There's a balance that must occur to allow students to feel a sense of agency and empowerment when exploring new concepts, especially in STEM. The STEM.org Online Certification Course helped me get a clear grasp of STEM Education in an engaging and intriguing manner. There was never a dull moment as I explored new concepts, discovered exciting ways to catch K-12 students' interests in STEM, and learned how to develop a lesson plan geared toward STEM concepts in accordance with educational standards including the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). This certification gave me many fresh ideas to use within my classes. After receiving this certification, I gained major traction for the development of my business in STEM Education from the "STEM Education world" that opened up to me. The content of this course has empowered me to confidently pursue more academic & entrepreneurial endeavors in the realm of STEM Education. All-in-all, this course is a must for those interested in having a command over material in STEM Education.
